Quick answer: Slots usually count 100% towards wagering. Online roulette, blackjack and live casino games usually count far less.
Games, edge and contribution
| Game | House edge | Typical contribution to wagering |
|---|
| Online slots | Around 4% | 100% |
|---|
| Online roulette (single zero) | 2.70% | 0% to 20% |
|---|
| Online blackjack | Around 0.5% | 0% to 20% |
|---|
| Live casino | Varies | 0% to 20% |
|---|
Typical patterns; each casino publishes its own list.
Online roulette
Play single-zero wheels. Every bet has the same 2.70% edge. Live roulette is a real wheel, streamed.
Online blackjack
Look for 3 to 2 payouts and follow basic strategy. Live blackjack follows the same rules.
Live casino
| Casino | Live studios reported | Live score |
|---|
| Coral | Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play | 8.5/10 |
|---|
| Ladbrokes | Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play; around 100 live tables reported | 8.5/10 |
|---|
| PlayOJO | Evolution, with other studios reported | 8.5/10 |
|---|
| Casumo | Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Playtech, plus Casumo-branded tables | 8.5/10 |
|---|
| 10bet | Evolution and Pragmatic Play | 7.5/10 |
|---|
Bonuses: live casino bonus.
Why low-edge games count less
A bonus is priced on the edge. If blackjack counted in full, wagering would cost a few pence.
